Operation “Crocodile Smile IV Flag Off In Lagos, Ogun State

All the Criminals In Lagos, Ogun State are forewarned to either Quit to become crushed by Army Orders.

The flag-off exercise of the Operation Crocodile Smile part four commenced on Tuesday, Nov.19, 2019, at Victoria Island Takwa Bay Lagos, Ogun State. The Nigerian army has also laid down a quit order, which takes effect immediately to all the criminals who are operating within the state. The order states that they should vacate every of their operation zones or face a crushing session from them.

According to the warning of Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai, who is the Army Chief of staff during the exercise, Operation Crocodile Smile Four operatives will never hold back. They are 100% ready to ruthlessly deal with criminals, even pipeline vandals and armed robbers who are leeching off Lagos and Ogun State areas.

Objectives of the Exercise

At the beginning of the exercise, General Buratai said that Crocodile Smile Exercise flag off is intelligence-driven. He states that the objective of the exercise is to smoke out all the criminals from their hiding places. As a result, this coming Christmas season will be free of crime.

Buratai continues to say that the Crocodile Smile Exercise will be carried out in accordance with the Army’s constitutional role. The operation will conduct internal security to aid civil authority. He added that part four of the crocodile smile would go directly to real-time exercise. That is if there is any encounter of possible threats to the area.

The GOC {General Officer Commanding} 81 Division Major General Olu Irefin, who is representing General Buratai, declares just as Babajide Sanwo-Olu the Lagos State governor encourages Lagosians.

The governor encourages the Lagos people to bear with and support the military operation since it is their measure to curb criminality and crime in the state.

What Led to the Exercise?

According to the governor, there has been increasing violence and pipeline vandalism within the State. He even recalled a particular incident that nearly turned into a disaster but was fortunately averted along the Abesan area of Iyana Ipaja. Criminals who want to steal oil broke up fuel pipelines so that they can siphon petrol.

Thus; operation Crocodile Smile IV is a welcome development since its objective is to make peace as well as provide security within the area. Says the governor, the exercise is crucial to this Christmas festivities so that all the criminals will never have anywhere to hide.

Judging from the previous occurrences, everyone is much aware of the security problems which usually happen during this yuletide. That is where all the criminal elements commit evil acts in the name of amassing wealth during the period.

The governor insisted that his government will always provide support and assistance to the military to actualize this mission.
